What do my viewers see during Commercial Breaks?

The user will see a dot on the timeline in the Blip player where you placed a commercial break. When they watch past or scrub over the dot they will see the stream fade out and get the commercial break. A commercial break consists of a second long fade out, then :30-1:00 of video ads followed by an overlay 20 seconds after episode playback resumes.

Getting the full commercial break package depends on our available ad inventory and how your content lines up with that inventory. We explain exactly how these factors, as well as geographical location work here. For these reasons we discourage editing any hard breaks into your show (eg. "We'll be right back after this message") so the viewing experience will remain unobtrusive.
