YouTube view numbers are made available in the Blip Dashboard via a "poller" which checks your YouTube views on a daily basis. Upon investigation it was found that this poller was not working reliably between December 3rd, 2011 and January 6th, 2012. As a result all views which were not counted due to this unreliability between 12/3/2011 and 1/6/2012 have been counted (and credited to) January 7th. As a result you may see a dip in YouTube views in your Blip Dashboard between December 3rd, 2011 and January 6th, 2012, leading to a large spike on January 7th, 2012.

All YouTube view numbers outside this date range should now be up to date and accurate. Additionally you can always find your daily view numbers in your YouTube Dashboard as the issue was on our end rather than theirs. We are working to increase the speed of our poller and provide YouTube statistics on an hourly basis in the near future, as well as improving general reliability. We apologize for the inconvenience.
